"Tail" was a fitting name
Well, we made it through our first night with Charlie. Maybe we should have named him Squeaker. He woke up about every two hours and cried. I can't really blame him though. He's never been without his litter mates before. Kendra did a good job of preparing me. I can't say it wasn't expected. However, I can't imagine doing this on my own. Anyway, its just me and Charlie this morning as Kendra has left for her summer job meeting. Currently he is nibbling on the bottom of my chair. He loves to chew on everything. He also follows us everywhere. I guess that's why they called him "Tail" at first. I think today's focus will be on not eating power cords. That's probably a good lesson to learn.

I remember the first night with had Cinnamon. She cried so much I ended up sleeping with her on the kitchen floor.
ReplyDeleteAw, hopefully Charlie adjusts soon and isn't so lonely at night! A lesson on not eating power cords definitely sounds like a good idea! :-)
